Bruce’s approach to sound production and design draws on his understanding, as a visual artist, of how sound affects us physically and emotionally in space as much as in time. In all his work Bruce brings attention to detail to enhance the audible outcome whether for live performance or a podcast.

Bruce is skilled in live theatre sound production using QLab, drawing on many years’ experience to teach the next generation of theatre technicians at Mountview Academy. His experience of recording ranges from voice to opera, jazz and rock.
As a sound designer he has created work for live dance performance, film and theatre and for collaborative multi media arts projects. In addition to contributions to quiet projects his credits include: Oh What a Lovely War (Mountview ) Macbeth (Network Theatre Waterloo) Titanic (Tanz Theater Aus der Zeche) LandMark (Siobhan Davies Commissions) Uncouple (Deborah Saxon and Henry Montes) Fish Out of Water (Henry Montes).
